Conveyancing Department
This team handles conveyancing transactions mostly from commercial banks, individuals, insurance companies and the government loan scheme (GEMVAS) and have successfully completed over P 60 million worth of property transactions. The firm’s bulk work emanates from this department. It is led by a competent team of two attorneys and a well-seasoned conveyancing secretary. We pride ourselves in our meticulous drafting of deeds, mortgage bonds, trusts, estate property transactions and sale agreement contracts.

Mr Ashford Kgomotso is an accomplished attorney with 16 years’ experience as both a litigator and in-house corporate/commercial lawyer and company secretary. He has over 6 years’ experience as a prosecutions attorney with the Directorate of Public Prosecutions were he left in the post of Senior Prosecutions Counsel in the year 2014 to join the private sector.
Mr Kgomotso’s areas of competency mostly are criminal and civil litigation, mediation and land disputes.
He heads the criminal and civil litigation department in the firm.
He was the Director of Infinity Life Insurance Agency (PTY) LTD, an agency under Botswana Life Insurance from 2016 to June 2022.

Ms Tasokwa Kamcholoti (LLB, UB) is an associate attorney with 7 years’ experience and part of the civil litigation team. Her areas of competency include drafting pleadings, drafting wills and contracts, aiding in settlements, legal research and legal advisory. She is also a competent litigator both in Civil and Criminal matters, Administration of Estates, Conveyancing, Notarial Practice and Trust related transactions. She portrays good communication, organizing, decision making, problem solving skills and discretion.

Masapa Basoli holds a Diploma in Business Management and a Certificate in Information and Communication Technology. She possess over 18 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Secretary and Para Legal. She is well versed in mortgage bond registrations, bond applications, bond cancellations, drafting sale agreement contracts and relevant compliance requirements in Property and Trust transactions. She has Good Case Management abilities in disposing of matters timeously and is very competent in preparing well researched legal briefs in both criminal and civil matters. She has exceptional administration skills. She has a firm understanding of court procedures in particular Rules of the High Court and Magistrates Court and outstanding debt collection abilities.

Mr Lawrence Phalanyane is competent and well versed in drafting pleadings, debt collection and both soft (telephonically) and hard (litigation) collection and debt recovery management. He is an in house trained Legal Secretary with over 12 years of experience in the field. He is a result oriented individual with excellent communication skills and has handled large portfolios for collection made up of more than 300 accounts and several smaller ones with between 20-50 accounts.
He has an excellent track record in his 12 years of service in the private sector.
